Position Summary
As the Sales Support Specialist, IT Professional Services, you will be responsible for working closely with the Technical Consulting Services (TCS) team to identify and develop opportunities to grow revenue from our existing and new accounts. This will involve active outreach and calls to current and prospective clients to introduce Maximus service offerings as well as position for known and identified future opportunities.It will also include the active monitoring and harvesting of various pre-qualified standing agreements (i.e. Vendor of Record) solicitations across multiple geographies.
Your typical week at Maximus
- Active monitoring of procurement sites for opportunity postings that align with Maximus capabilities and service offerings
- Distribution of procurement documents to operational teams as well as geographic Business Development Leaders
- Attendance and participation in team meetings and briefings
- Active outreach to current and prospective customers to identify upcoming procurement opportunities of interest
- Pipeline management / reporting of overall pursuits and ensuring overall reporting compliance.
