As such, we are proud to support a hybrid work approach, which includes flexible hours and work-from-home options.Standard Work Hours : Mon - Fri | 7 : 45 am - 4 : 00 pm | 36.25 hours per week (Summer Hours)Additional Working Conditions : There is occasional travel with this position, ability to travel is required.Salary Range : $55,989 - $72,785 per annumYOUR FOCUSReporting to the Strategic Program Director responsible with K-12 education, the Digital Education Program Manager supports and further develops the exciting initiatives within this portfolio.Oversee the full project lifecycle of the McKenna Educator Upskilling Program, including budget management, marketing collateral, funder reports, and tracking metrics and milestonesDevelop and monitor the project budget; track expenditures, forecast costs, and ensure alignment with financial constraintsPrepare financial reports for stakeholders and funding bodiesImplement all program components in collaboration with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development; monitor alignment with the EECD roadmapCoordinate program gatherings and meetingsWrite proposals and grants for new education initiatives as neededProvide research support for current and new projects as neededDevelop, plan, and execute the annual Tech4Teachers conferenceDevelop, plan, and execute the Tech4Teachers recognition dinnerCoordinate online upskilling courses for teachers in partnership with the IBM SkillsBuild programSupport the planning and execution of Digital Innovation Community Events (DICE) and other special community events throughout the yearSupport the planning and execution of EECD events, including Tech Lead retreatsBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including government, community partners, academic collaborators, and funding bodiesGather stakeholder input, address concerns, and ensure project alignment with educator needs and partner expectationsMeet regularly with digital education partners to triage project issuesPursue and engage with new potential partnersRepresent the McKenna Institute and promote digital education projects at relevant events as neededCoordinate digital education steering committeesRespond promptly to incoming digital education requests by email, phone, or other channelsObtain quotes, process invoices, and liaise with vendors on all project-related activitiesWHAT YOU BRINGA bachelor's degree in education or a related field.5+ years prior experience in a similar or complementary position.Additional Strengths : Experience in the education sector is an asset.Bilingualism is required.About University of New BrunswickThe University of New Brunswick employs more than 3,200 full- and part-time staff, including faculty, support staff and students.
