We are looking for an Diet Technician  to support our  Food Services  department.  Employment Type :   CASUAL Job Outline : This position is responsible for providing clinical support associated with patient menu distribution and marking, verifying specifics for the therapeutic diets of patients, reviewing patient nourishments for compliance to diet orders, screening patients and conducting follow-up assessments as required. As well, this position is responsible for providing basic nutrition education to patients.  Education & Qualifications : Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition from a recognized university Minimum one (1) year previous experience working in a health-care diet office Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software at a basic level Experience with CBord software Superior communication skills with fluency in English, both verbal and written Employment at Sinai Health is conditional upon the verification of credentials, completion of a health review, and demonstrating proof of immunity and vaccination status of vaccine-preventable diseases.
