Mobile Transport Refrigeration Mechanic – up to $44.49 / hr & up to $4.93 / hr pension
Do you have an excellent attitude and experience working in automotive mechanics? Are you looking for a steady, permanent, day-time schedule with opportunity to grow? Our client is looking for a hardworking, motivated Mobile Transport Refrigeration Mechanic to join their team in the Victoria – Nanaimo region on Vancouver Island, B.C.
What’s in it for you?
Up to $44.49 / hr & up to $4.93 / hr pension (rate based on experience)
Permanent, full-time role; day-time schedule (8 to 4 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday)

Company vehicle provided, as well as travel expenses as required. What will you be doing?
Based out of Victoria or Nanaimo, and reporting directly to the Service Manager and Service Writers.
This role will work remotely within the Vancouver Island region.
Work on the assembly, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of variable speed, electric and diesel driven cooling / heating systems, components and mechanical equipment on trucks, specialty vehicles, trailers and intermodal containers.
Service, maintain and repair truck / trailer reefer units, Air Conditioning Equipment, container refrigeration units and Gensets.
Install Reefer units
Ensure all work is completed to company standards
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service to clients.
Participate in the on-call service rotation (Mobile technician)
This role is perfect for a self-driven candidate that has a knack for problem solving and repairing technical and hands-on mechanical issues. What do you bring to this role?
Prior experience in automotive, heavy duty, or refrigeration transportation mechanics.
Red Seal certification is preferred.
Able to commute to Coquitlam, BC for intermittent training as required.
Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC / air conditioning is preferred.
Valid Driver’s license is required with clean abstract.
Self-starting mentality and able to work autonomously.
