As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of healthcare settings. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities :

Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and goals

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or other healthcare professionals

Monitor patients for changes in their condition and adjust care plans as necessary

Document patient information and care provided accurately and timely in the electronic medical record system

Communicate with patients and their families to provide education and support, answer questions, and address concerns

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and others to provide comprehensive care to patients

Advocate for patient rights and ensure patients receive ethical and competent care

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Participate in continuing education activities to keep up-to-date with current nursing practices and new technologies

Qualifications & Skills :

Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing

At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or community setting

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

Proficient in using electronic medical record systems

Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be prepared to respond to emergency situations

Strong leadership and supervisory skills in relation to both patients and care staff
