MECHANICAL LEAD ENGINEER
This role is opened as part of the creation of a new Center of Expertise supporting major projects with VIA Rail and TTC. You will join a team of approximately 15 engineers.
Location : Kingston, ON.
Mechanical Design & System Integration
- Lead the design, development, and integration of mechanical systems with a strong focus on piping layouts and pneumatic circuits used in rolling stock applications (braking systems, compressed air supply, control systems).
- Define and validate mechanical architectures, interfaces, and technical solutions based on system requirements.
- Ensure proper integration of piping and pneumatic components considering space, structure, safety, and maintainability constraints.
- Review and approve mechanical designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
