The Branch Manager oversees all operations of the branch, ensuring profitable growth, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence across parts, service, and equipment sales. This role leads a multidisciplinary team and is accountable for business performance, employee engagement, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with business acumen and a deep understanding of agricultural or heavy equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
  • Champion a strong safety culture across all operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with company, regulatory, and industry health and safety standards.
  • Conduct and support regular safety meetings, inspections, and audits.
  • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents and injuries.
  • Ensure proper training, certification, and PPE compliance for all staff.
  • Lead by example — demonstrating safe work practices and reinforcing safety accountability at all levels.
  • Collaborate with corporate HSE teams to report incidents, track metrics, and drive continuous improvement.

Leadership & Operations:
  • Oversee daily branch operations across sales, parts, and service departments.
  • Lead and develop employees, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and performance.
  • Ensure branch operations align with company policies, standards, and strategic goals.
  • Manage facilities, assets, and branch appearance to maintain a professional and efficient work environment.
  • Track key performance metrics and take action to meet or exceed targets for profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for sales, expenses, and staffing.
  • Monitor P&L performance, margins, and cost control measures.
  • Oversee inventory and asset management to ensure optimal availability and efficiency.

People Management:
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing employees across all departments.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to promote growth and accountability.
  • Encourage a positive feedback culture with open communication and collaboration between individuals and departments.

Sales & Customer Relations:
  • Drive growth in equipment, parts, and service sales through strong leadership and customer engagement.
  • Support sales initiatives, including pricing, quoting, and deal negotiation.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Strategic & Community Engagement:
  • Align branch goals with company strategy and contribute to business development plans.
  • Represent the company at agricultural shows, community events, and industry functions.
  • Identify local market trends and opportunities to expand customer reach and product offerings.

Key Metrics of Success:
Financial Performance:
  • Achievement of annual sales targets (equipment, parts, and service).
  • Branch profitability and margin performance.
  • Operating expense control within budget.
  • Inventory turns and reduction in aged or obsolete inventory.

Customer Experience:
  • Customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Response time to customer inquiries and service requests.
  • Repeat business and customer retention rate.

Operational Excellence:
  • On-time service completion rate.
  • Equipment uptime and service efficiency metrics.
  • Work order accuracy and turnaround time.

Health & Safety:
  • Zero lost-time incidents and proactive reporting of near misses.
  • Completion of safety audits and corrective actions on schedule.
  • Staff participation in safety meetings and compliance with training requirements.

People & Culture:
  • Employee engagement and retention levels.
  • Training completion and development milestones.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration and communication effectiveness.

About Reesink Canada Holdings:

Reesink Canada Holdings is a subsidiary of Royal Reesink, a Dutch company that started in 1786 as a blacksmith and has evolved into one of the largest equipment suppliers internationally.Canada is one of the main markets for Royal Reesink. We believe that both the agricultural and construction equipment market have big potential in Canada. That is why a Reesink Canada Holdings was founded as a dedicated entity for all Canadian activities. This provides an excellent match with Royal Reesink’s growth strategy, which is based in part on growth with existing brands in new markets.Royal Reesink has been representing CLAAS for over 65 years in the Netherlands and also represents CLAAS, HORSCH and MACDON in Kazakhstan. There are significant similarities between Western Canadian agriculture and agriculture in Kazakhstan, and therefore synergies can be realised.
