Job descriptionService driven with an enthusiastic attitude. Previous customer service experience required. High school diploma required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid First Aid certification an asset. Fluent in English - Ability to speak other languages an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.). Knowledge of cash handling / previous experience with POS terminals. Ability work both alone and in groups. Critical thinking / problem solving skills. Must have reliable transportation (important for openers and closers due to limited bus services) Greet members and guest enthusiastically to encourage a positive culture at the club. Promptly ensure that customer inquiries are resolved professionally and thoroughly via telephone, e-mail and in person encounters. Monitor member check-ins / Check-in guests ensuring all policies and processes are Ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate employee / department in a prompt, professional manner. Complete all guest check in procedures. Ensure proper notes are placed on member and guest accounts in a timely manner. Efficiently and effective input and update daily cash reconciliation documents. Process point of sale items, such as retail and concession sales. Ensure accurate closing of facility each night. Positive, rewarding, and collaborative team environment. Complimentary membership. About Golds Gym West Broadway
Located just blocks away from the Broadway City Hall Sky Train Station and steps from the 99B line - Tucked underneath the Holiday Inn, it spans 18,000 square feet - featuring some of the best equipment that can be found in Vancouver.
The Golds Gym brand has been the authority on fitness since 1965. It was then that fitness legend Joe Gold took the knowledge and expertise he gained from training at the world famous Muscle Beach and opened up the first Golds Gym on Pacific Avenue in Venice, California. At Golds Gym, our goal is simple : Were here to help you Know Your Own Strength. We are committed to helping people find their inner strength and reach their goals.
We are searching for a NEW team member!
Time of Work - 3 to 4 shifts 20-24 hours a week
- Must be available to work 3 weekdays 5 : 15pm-11 : 15pm + 1 weekend 4 : 15pm-10 : 15pm
- Training shifts vary based on availability.
