Qualifications and Experience

Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for) Committed to a co-planning model within a learning "pod" of three to four divisions Willingness to share space and resources in a learning "pod" of three to fur divisions within a flexible learning space environment Qualifications and demonstrated ability to teach the identified subjects at the elementary years level Experience with universal design and differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students Excellent interpersonal, communications, collaboration and organization skills Experience / training / knowledge of Social Emotional Learning. This process involved visitations to schools around the country, community consultation meetings and several design meetings with a cross-section of staff from around the district. These conversations on learning and learning spaces helped shape the architecture of the school. Current salary grid is $65,397 - $111,952 Benefits as per collective agreement with option to enroll in medical, dental, extended health, and group life insurance.
