Hardware Design Engineer

Summary :

Mircom is seeking talented, independent individuals that have previous experience in analog, digital and mixed signal circuit design. The ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate knowledge on a broad range of systems and circuits, including : Power supplies, small signal and power amplifiers, signal processing, microcontroller based systems, FPGA based digital systems, serial communications channels, ADC / DAC converters, EMI / EMC filtering and protection. This is a full time permanent role based out of our Head Office in Vaughan, ON.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze product requirements and create a detailed hardware architecture and formal structured design.
• Conduct circuit analysis from requirements to formal design.
• Perform simulations to validate design choices.
• Design of electronic circuits using suitable components, systems and equipment.
• Design auxiliary tools, prototypes and test interfaces.
• Circuit debugging and troubleshooting.
• Prepare product operational documentation to support software development.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures.
