Hello, I'm Rayan MERRIEN, Recruitment Consultant FED ManuTech, a specialist in temporary and permanent recruitment for the engineering and manufacturing professions.We're experts who speak your language.We are committed to supporting you throughout your job search and at every stage of your career.Your positionI am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Manager for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the transportation sector located in Boucherville.Permanent position 40h / week - hybridReporting to the Engineering Project Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks : - Define and maintain standards for 3D model creation, technical drawing management and project review- Optimize the use of the data vault- Train and support teams in good design practices,- Support the engineering team in the implementation and continuous improvement of design processes and tools.- Analyze assembly projects, identify anomalies or inconsistencies, and coordinate their correction with stakeholders.- Provide regular and constructive feedback to team members, to encourage their development and improve project results.Your professional skills- Priority management and rigor- Pedagogical and analytical skills- Excellent communication skillsWe're looking for a proactive, autonomous person who likes a job well done. Our ideal candidate is passionate, likes dynamic environments, is rigorous, and likes to work in teams.Your profile-Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical design-DEC or BAC in mechanical engineering or any other relevant field-Experience in team management an asset-Experience in implementing vaults, standards and processes, and improving engineering processes-Knowledge of the transportation manufacturing industry-Knowledge of electricity and automotive mechanics, an asset-Knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor, an asset-Able to adapt to various work environments, able to work in English.- Salary : $80k - $100k depending on experience- 40h / week position.
