Key Responsibilities :

Deliver thorough, gentle dental cleanings and preventative care

Create a comfortable, reassuring environment for patients

Perform scaling, polishing, and periodontal screenings

Take and process dental x-rays following safety protocols

Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventative care

Maintain and input detailed patient records using Dentrix software

Process instruments as needed

Patient Demographics :

You'll work with a diverse patient base including :

Families and children

Seniors

Anxious patients requiring extra care and attention

Preventative care focused patients

Periodontal patients

Patients requiring various levels of dental care

Required Qualifications :

Current Registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)

Valid Ontario dental hygienist license

Proficiency with Dentrix software

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient comfort

Experience in creating a calming environment for anxious patients

Excellent communication abilities for patient education

Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Commitment to delivering personalized patient care

Certified CPR and First Aid Certification
