Job descriptionValid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR Level C (WSIB-approved provider) Ability to be clean-shaven for N95 mask fit testing Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum two doses) Immunization records for MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, and TB (Step 1 & 2) Valid Ontario G Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (completed during onboarding) Minimum 6 months of security experience (healthcare preferred but not required) Full-time availability with a minimum 6-month commitment Fluent English communication skills (oral and written) Legally authorized to work in Canada French language skills considered an asset Minimum 6 months of customer service experience preferred Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) Applicants without UoF / MOAB may opt into Paladin’s training program prior to onboarding Training costs are covered by Paladin with a 6-month commitment Please note : UoF / MOAB training is unpaid as it is a pre-requisite Paid time off (PTO) Health and dental benefits Overtime pay On-the-job training Growth and advancement opportunities Competitive wages Free uniforms Security license reimbursement Dry cleaning and tailoring allowance Work today, get paid today Additional employee perks

Location : Various sites within Quinte (Belleville, Picton, Trenton, Bancroft, Cobourg, Port Hope, Campbellford)
Shifts : Full-Time, Part-Time, Casual (Days, Nights, Continental, Rotating Shifts)
Pay Rate : $18.35 – $21.00 / hour

Overview
Join Paladin Security as a Healthcare Security Guard and support safe, dynamic hospital environments across our partner sites. From the fast-paced Quinte Health network to Campbellford’s community-focused care and Northumberland Hills’ broad clinical services, you’ll play a vital role in protecting patients, staff, and visitors while contributing to community well-being.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional, visible security presence
- Greet, assist, and direct patients, visitors, and staff
- Protect clients, staff, buildings, and assets
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols
- Respond to emergencies and support hospital code responses
- Document and report incidents; conduct investigations as required
- Perform patient watches and enforce hospital policies and by-laws
- Manage access control, keys, and parking enforcement
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Assist with monthly safety inspections and other assigned duties
