Typically works at a workbench or on a conveyer line. Common tasks include checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, sniping, tying, or trimming either manually or by machine. Performs basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning. May perform miscellaneous jobs such as moving assemblies / machines or cleaning floors. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision. Typical job titles include : General Labor, Machine Operator, Maker / Packer, Assembler and Line Operator.Procor Limited manages Canada’s largest private tank car lease fleet and operates an extensive repair network across the country. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced individual looking for an opportunity in an organization that offers advancement.Job Summary : The primary duty of a Helper is applying decals to railcars, preparing the interior of tanks and hopper cars for interior coating applications, masking for exterior paint, holding paint lines during the application of coatings in tanks, and clean up.The current hourly rate for a Helper at the Sarnia Service Centre is $31.58.Requirements :

• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Has reliable transportation to and from work as well as a valid driver’s license
• Adheres to Procor’s health and safety standards (including the Responsible Care policy), and wears the required personal protective equipment for the job in a safe manner
• Maintains a clean and tidy work area while performing manual, repetitive tasks
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, around machinery, and in conditions where there are loud noises and fumes
• Work well as part as a team and independently as required
• Complete tasks with a sense of urgency while delivering accurate results
• Use a variety of hand tools to perform work
