LUXURY DAY SPA MANAGER.

Location: West Island of Montreal.
Position: Full-Time.
Team: Approximately 60 employees.
Reports to: Ownership.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced, confident and organized Spa Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a busy luxury day spa with a team of approximately 60 employees.

The Manager will be responsible for leading the team, maintaining exceptional client service, overseeing daily operations and helping drive the overall success and profitability of the spa.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, motivate and support a team of approximately 60 employees.
  • Set clear expectations for professionalism, performance and client service.
  • Coach employees and address performance issues when required.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding and training.
  • Create a positive, respectful and accountable team culture.

Client Experience:

  • Ensure a consistently exceptional luxury client experience.
  • Maintain high standards throughout reception, treatments and all client interactions.
  • Handle client concerns professionally and ensure appropriate service recovery.
  • Monitor and maintain the overall presentation and standards of the spa.

Daily Operations:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the spa and ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling and daily coverage.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, safety standards and service standards are followed.
  • Monitor supplies, equipment and facility needs.
  • Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions.

Sales & Business Performance:

  • Monitor daily and monthly sales and business performance.
  • Support the team in achieving sales and service goals.
  • Encourage rebooking, memberships, packages, retail and other revenue opportunities.
  • Work with ownership on promotions, initiatives and business improvements.

Communication:

  • Act as a key link between ownership and the team.
  • Communicate priorities, changes and expectations clearly.
  • Keep ownership informed of important staffing, operational and client issues.
  • Encourage employees to bring solutions and take ownership of their responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5+ years of management experience in a spa, salon, hospitality, wellness or high-end service environment.
  • Experience managing a large team; experience with 50+ employees is an asset.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service instincts and a professional presence.
  • Strong understanding of sales and business performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent English and French communication skills.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

You are a leader, not simply a supervisor. You are confident, approachable, organized and comfortable holding people accountable. You lead by example, remain calm under pressure, notice the details and understand that a luxury experience requires consistency at every level.

This is an opportunity to take a key leadership role in an established luxury spa and make a meaningful impact on the team, client experience and growth of the business.

Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
