Job description
We are looking for a contract data scientist to develop Python based automation scripts to reduce manual work and
procedures. The contract data scientist will also work closely with the Product team in developing a framework for
our clients data lake in AWS to ensure ease of access of data for the purposes of automation, analytics and insights.

Qualifications
Skills Required:
 Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics
 5-7 years of proven experience in developing automation scripts using Python and a s strong knowledge of
automation frameworks and tools.
 Knowledge of data extraction and transformation is required. Candidate should be comfortable working in
Python, R and AWS.
 Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, including machine learning and analytics.
 Python
 AWS: Lamda, S3, Glue, Red Shift, Neptune and other data management services
 Data Architecture
 Database management: proficiency in SQL/Oracle for querying and managing large datasets
 Expert Excel power user including Visual Basic
 Statistical knowledge
 Understanding of ML techniques for data-driven insights
 Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
 Knowledge of radio/television marketing (asset)
 Good communication skills to present results to varying audiences.
