Job Summary

A Data Engineer is responsible for developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems. They work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is accessible and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable data pipelines for efficient data processing.
Integrate raw data from various sources to create consistent, machine-readable formats.
Implement methods to improve data reliability and quality.
Conduct complex data analysis and report findings.
Collaborate with stakeholders including data scientists, architects, and business teams to support data infrastructure needs.

Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with DBMS development; familiarity with SalesForce and Tableau is a plus.

Strong analytical skills to analyze raw data and develop insights.

Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve data-related issues.

Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

Additional Duties

Assemble large, complex data sets to meet business requirements.

Build infrastructure for ETL processes.

Develop analytical tools for key business metrics.

Support data-related technical issues and infrastructure needs.

Manage end-to-end data flow.
