About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Education & Learning, the Data Analyst has primary responsibility to OPOR to support the mission, vision and strategic directions by supporting the data management needs of the OPOR Education & Learning portfolio.
The Data Analyst works with cross-functional team members to identify, manage, and validate end user lists for role-specific OPOR training. This position will support and validate aggregated and user level data lists, ensure accuracy, and follow up on any data-based issues to ensure the most accurate lists possible for all OPOR Go Live implementations.
The Data Analyst will provide expertise on data aggregation and cleaning, reporting, and analytical approaches for the broader Education & Learning team. They will perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to : evaluation of requests for change, data retrieval, explore and assist with the implementation data collection strategies, and development of materials and resources for communication of data results and trends.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following :
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Analysis. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Legacy tools, MS Office Suite, Power BI and Smartsheets and asset
- Experience and / or training with healthcare information systems and terminology an asset.
- Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting an asset.
- Experience supporting clinical application systems and related services in a complex health care organizational environment considered an asset
- Ability to troubleshoot and document issues, problems and implement resolution
- Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience creating summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis an asset
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to document and solve issues
- Organizational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to clearly communicate the NSHA vision, mission and values
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Compensation and Benefits
33.14 - $41.42 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
