Hours: All applicants MUST have availability for a minimum of 4 hours (2 x 2 hr sessions) on weeknights after school or weekend availability.
Successful Candidates Must:
- Possess a minimum of 6 months employment experience as an Instructor Therapist or similar role, implementing ABA procedures as directed by an RBA.
- Implement sessions as directed by the RBA in accordance with the client’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP) in the client’s home or community.
- Implement feedback from the RBA (or delegate) in a timely manner to improve client outcomes.
- Record and graph data and notes required by the RBA.
- Arrive on time and prepared for all sessions with clients.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, other team members, and the agency.
- Other duties as assigned by the RBA.
Successful Candidates Should Possess:
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Access to a reliable method of transportation.
- A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field.
Additional Assets:
- Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) course completion is an asset.
- Completion of the RBT course or previous registration as an RBT with the BACB.
- ABA/Autism-related Diploma/Certificate is an asset.
- CPR / First Aid certification.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification (or similar certification).
