  • Job Summary

    Reporting directly to the Director of IT, the IT Security Manager is responsible for leading the IT Security team and managing the security of the IT systems and networks, while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Provide guidance and advice to the IT team and work collaboratively with other IT Managers, business units and external partners. Responsible for remaining up to date on the latest cyber security trends, threats and technologies.

    Responsibility

    Develop and implement cyber security policies, procedures, and best practices.

    Oversee and evaluate the security of the IT systems and networks and respond to incidents or breaches.

    Conduct regular risk assessments and audits and recommend mitigation strategies and solutions.

    Lead and manage the IT Security team, including recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.

    Coordinate with other IT managers and business units to align cyber security goals and initiatives.

    Liaise with external stakeholders on cyber security matters.

    Stay updated on the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies, and provide guidance and advice.

    Academic / Educational Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cyber security, or related field.

    Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH are preferred.

    Required Skills / Experience

    Minimum 5 years of experience in cyber security, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.

    Strong Knowledge of cyber security frameworks, standards and best practices.

    Proficient in various cyber tools and technologies.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

    Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
