Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY : The Customer Service Representative resolves billing and customer service inquiries, capitalizes on sales prospects, fosters customer loyalty, and prevents churn by promoting the benefits of Cogeco’s products and services. Customer concerns should be addressed proficiently to ensure high standards of quality and professionalism. Motivation to meet and surpass targets is essential, with success relying on resilience, interpersonal skills, and negotiation abilities to enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer requests related to billing, products, services, pricing, and related issues.
- Resolve customer issues effectively and communicate the advantages of Cogeco’s offerings, practicing outlined sales behaviors.
- Answer inbound calls, offer customized solutions, and respond to customer questions or problems while meeting quality and KPI targets.
- Identify customer needs, retain existing products, and promote new products through tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate integrity, empathy, and proactive communication in dealings with customers.
- Promote and up-sell products and services, and process orders.
- Stay updated with new offers, processes, and policies via knowledge management tools.
- Follow call flow procedures and highlight product features confidently.
- Resolve billing inquiries and service discrepancies following billing procedures and credit guidelines.
- Handle escalated inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions demonstrating soft skills.
- Assist with departmental requests and special projects as needed.
- Ensure health and safety measures are followed, including the use of PPE and adherence to safety policies.
- Respond promptly to customer needs, ensuring solutions meet their requirements.
