About the Role

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role at the intersection of customer service, order management, and sales support within a fast-paced B2B environment.

This individual will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders accurately, and recommending appropriate product solutions, while ensuring a high level of responsiveness and customer satisfaction.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, and who thrives in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries (email and phone) with speed, accuracy, and professionalism

  • Process and validate customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product codes, pricing, and availability

  • Track and follow up on orders across production, shipping, and billing stages

  • Provide product information and recommend suitable alternatives when needed

  • Support the sales team with inventory checks, ETAs, CRM updates, and order tracking

  • Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, technical support) to ensure smooth execution

  • Monitor project timelines and delivery schedules to ensure on-time fulfillment

  • Identify and resolve order discrepancies, including product availability and data errors

  • Contribute to improving response times, accuracy, and overall service quality

  • Maintain organized documentation and assist with returns and administrative tasks

What You Bring

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or order coordination

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset

  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of requests with attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment

  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience in distribution, construction, plumbing, or building materials

  • Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Epicor)

  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to recommend products and alternatives

Le ou la Représentant(e) aux ventes internes joue un rôle clé au cœur des opérations, combinant service à la clientèle, gestion des commandes et soutien aux ventes dans un environnement B2B.

Cette personne sera responsable de répondre aux demandes des clients, de traiter les commandes avec précision et de recommander des solutions adaptées, tout en assurant un haut niveau de réactivité et de satisfaction.

Responsabilités principales

  • Répondre aux demandes des clients (courriels et appels) de manière rapide, professionnelle et précise

  • Saisir, valider et traiter les commandes clients avec exactitude (produits, prix, disponibilité)

  • Effectuer le suivi des commandes (production, expédition, facturation) jusqu'à la livraison

  • Fournir des informations sur les produits et recommander des alternatives pertinentes

  • Soutenir l'équipe des ventes (inventaire, délais de livraison, CRM, suivi des commandes)

  • Collaborer avec les équipes internes (achats, logistique, service technique)

  • Assurer le suivi des projets et des échéanciers pour respecter les délais

  • Identifier et résoudre les écarts ou erreurs liés aux commandes

  • Contribuer à l'amélioration continue des processus et de la qualité du service

  • Maintenir une documentation rigoureuse et gérer les retours

Profil recherché

  • 1 à 3 ans d'expérience en service à la clientèle, ventes internes ou coordination de commandes

  • Excellentes compétences en communication et approche orientée client

  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement à volume élevé

  • Sens de l'organisation, rigueur et souci du détail
