Job description

Position Details

Zeeland Public Schools has two Full-Time Custodian position available working at the high schools. The Full-Time Custodian will provide custodial services to the pool and locker room areas.

Responsibilities:

General custodial cleaning of assigned area which could consist of vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, drinking fountains, windows and removal of trash.
Cleaning of bulkheads.
Cleaning in pool area around pool water drains.
Any other duties assigned by the lead custodian.

Qualifications:

Must have the ability to assume responsibility with minimum supervision.
Must possess proper safety knowledge and acceptable applications of safety techniques.
Must possess the ability to secure the area when finished with tasks in an assigned area.
Must be able to operate custodial equipment.
Must be dependable and flexible with assigned areas, tasks and responsibilities.
Must be able to complete & record pool testing-training provided.
Must be flexible with assigned areas.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday
3:00 pm – 11:30 Pm
Year-Round Position

Compensation:
Level II: $18.34 – $21.45 per hour
