Job Duties / Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
Job Duties Job Duties 1. Instruct computer aided design and drafting skills to students.
2. Prepare for and use appropriate delivery methods for instructional assignments.
3. Manage his / her classroom / lab / activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students.
4. Use appropriate methods of evaluating and recoding student progress.
5. Make necessary curriculum adjustments to course content.
6. Accommodate students with special learning needs.
7. Attend staff, program and division meetings.
8. Pursue professional development opportunities to keep current with industry and educational requirements.
9. Practice good interpersonal and communication skills
10. Work cooperatively in an interdependent “team” environment.
11. Follow any academic regulations and / or policies adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Description Required Qualifications 1. Two-year engineering technology Diploma in one or more of the following disciplines : Drafting, Mechanical, Architectural, CAD / CAM, including an advanced CAD drafting course.
2. Autodesk Certified Instructor
3. Two years’ recent / relevant business / industry experience (two years’ experience in the last five years).
