Who We Are :

Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) has been awarded the design and early works of the Scarborough Subway Extension project. The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.

As part of the Scarborough Transit Connect project, we are looking for a Cost Control Coordinator to join our team.

What You Will Do :

• Provide support in developing, establishing, and maintaining the company's project cost / control systems.
• Assist in monitoring of project accounting systems (cost codes, job cost processing procedures, project rules of credit).
• Assist in monitoring project performance and ensure that the project control system is properly implemented.
• Generate / Maintain all required project status reports for internal management and for the customer, including the overall project Dashboard, project performance report (Earned Value, SPI, CPI, KPI).
• Assist in the review and generate / analyze the cost reports and suggest corrective actions to maintain the project within anticipated cost.
• Provide support to the project team in budget and forecast management during execution to accurately reflect project status.
• Develop, or assist in the development of, quantity bases for the assumption and / or during forecasting budget.
• Perform data analysis, identifies problems, and makes recommendations.
• Ensure all the contract conditions (invoicing, reporting, change management, etc.) are applied and fulfilled for project set-up, project tracking and reporting, and project closeout.
• Create and implement measurement systems for given processes, analyzes performance metric results, and identifies improvements.
• Responsible for monitoring / maintaining of project accounting systems (cost codes, job cost processing procedures, project rules of credit).
