We're looking for a dedicated, experienced, and reliable part-time nanny to care for our 2.5-year-old daughter. Your role will involve creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment that fosters her development through fun and age-appropriate activities.This position requires availability during late afternoons and weekends to provide consistent support while I focus on caring for our 8-week-old baby. Particularly, we're looking for help during specific weeks each month when our schedule becomes busier. These weeks occur about once a month and would include Monday through Sunday. Weekday hours would typically be in the late afternoon, from around 4 or 5 pm to 8 or 9 pm, while weekend hours are flexible. There’s potential for additional weeks in the future, possibly without the weekend hours.Key Responsibilities : - Provide attentive care to our 2.5-year-old daughter, ensuring her safety and well-being.- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote her growth and development.- Assist with light meal preparation and snacks for our toddler.- Help with tidying up play areas and occasional laundry for the children.Qualifications : - Prior experience working with toddlers in a nanny or childcare setting.- Knowledge of child development and a passion for creating engaging activities.- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date).- A kind, patient, and energetic personality with a genuine love for children.- Strong organizational and communication skills.Details : - Location : Mont-Royal, Quebec (Live-out position).- Schedule : Late afternoons and weekends, based on my husband’s hospital schedule.
