What the job entails (overview)
We are seeking enthusiastic Pharmacy Students to join our team under the direct supervision of our licensed pharmacists. This role will give you hands-on experience in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and exceptional customer service while learning from experienced professionals in the field.
Where you’ll be focusing (your day to day) :
Patient Care & Customer service :
- Under the supervision of a pharmacist :
- Assist in filling prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness.
- Assist with thorough medication reviews and assessments to ensure appropriate drug therapy.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare providers.
- Provide patient education on medication use, side effects, and health management.
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain patient confidentiality while providing information and advice on prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Support the administration of injections and vaccinations as needed.
