Our expectations
Under the direction of the Import Director, Transport, the incumbent will work in collaboration with colleagues, internal customers, suppliers, carriers and customs agents in order to keep the flow of imported products moving to support business targets and do so in an efficient, and timely manner.
Your Role
Operations (40%) :
- First point of contact for import information / management internal / external
- Bookings - Carrier and / or Forwarder Control Tower
- Direct to vendor communication
- Route analysis - MLB or diversions
- Manage adhoc / special situations with Manager support
- Identify issues, address them and provide solutions (see the forest through the trees).
