Job description

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a diploma in Robotics / Automation with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Has 3 to 5 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, including preventive maintenance, continuous improvement (Kaizen), and breakdown support
  • Is available and willing to work mandatory maintenance overtime shifts to support production requirements
  • Maintains a strong attendance record and consistently arrives to work on time
  • Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Possesses strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Has a desire to learn skills beyond their primary area of expertise
  • Has a good understanding of the Toyota Production System (considered an asset)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing processes, including injection molding, robotics, frame welding, seat assembly, IR ovens, presses, and door panel assembly
  • Troubleshoot PLC controls, robot programming, injection molding, extrusion systems, hydraulic presses, and automated equipment
  • Experience working with Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and machine specifications
  • Recommend technical solutions and implement process improvements
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Shifts:

  • Midnight Shift - (Straight Shift)
    • Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00PM TO 07:30AM
  • Overtime requirements and shift end times may vary based on business needs

Wages:

  • $45.87 per hour - starting rate
  • $46.65 per hour - after 6 months of employment
  • $47.43 per hour - after 1 year of employment
  • $48.99 per hour - after 2 years of employment
  • $50.60 per hour - after 3 years of employment
  • A $3.00 per hour shift premium applies to Midnight Shift
  • Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate after 40 hours per week
