AirswiftEdmonton, Alberta, CanadaAirswift is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator IV to join one of our major energy oil & gas clients in Edmonton, AB. This is an initial 1-year contract with a huge possibility to be extended.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the development of the project control plan.
Develop project control budget and WBS structure.
Track and monitor forecast at completion, incurred cost, and budget.
Provide variance analysis and explanation.
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure engagement with the project progress, changes, highlights, and issues.
Communicate the status and issues with the execution and construction team.
Proactively report cost status and efficiently communicate any risk and mitigation plan with PM / CM and project control supervisor.
Implement Earned Value Management.
Ensure accurate CPI and Earned Value curve are reported.
Implement change management.
Initiate PCOs, Trends, and AFE revisions.
Skills / Qualifications
Post-secondary education in engineering or construction.
Project Management Professional credential (PMP) is preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction, including solar or wind-relevant experience. (Project Coordinator III : Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction, including solar or wind-relevant experience.)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and to work with a minimum level of supervision.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively in a team environment.
Computer skills using Ecosys, Oracle, Power BI, and Microsoft Office products specifically Excel.
Work Schedule
Hybrid : - In-office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) Remote (Wednesday & Friday)
Travel : The candidate may be required to travel to the US office once every 2 months. (This may vary).
Some driving is required for this role; therefore, a Driver’s Abstract is required for the successful candidate.
