The Town of Kindersley is seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. This dynamic position offers exposure to all areas of municipal engineering.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of essential municipal engineering functions, including :
- Project Development : Survey, design, and layout for the construction of various municipal projects.
- Inspection : Inspecting construction work performed by private contractors and Town Public Works staff.
- Permitting & Compliance : Assisting in issuing building permits in compliance with the Building Bylaw.
- Drafting & Documentation : Drafting construction plans, preparing a wide variety of municipal drawings, and preparing contract documents.
- Contract Administration : Assisting with contract administration.
- Administrative Support : Assisting in processing and recording building permits and the distribution of these statistics.
- Asset Management : Assist in development and implementation of a comprehensive infrastructure asset management plan.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for a professional who possesses a strong technical background and commendable planning, organizational, and communication skills.
