Summary :
Enercare is at a pivotal time in our brand’s history as we aspire to be part of Canada’s green transition by reducing greenhouse gas emissions from a critical source : our homes and buildings. The role of Senior Manager, Content & Social will have a direct impact to helping elevate the brand voice of one of Canada’s largest home services companies.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Content & Social Senior Manager to join our team on a 20-month contract. This role will focus on content strategy development and implementation, social content strategy for brand awareness and acquisition, performance reporting, social sentiment, and online reputation monitoring, and collaborating with the cross-functional partners to enhance brand interactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation (written and video), social media strategy, and performance analysis, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop Impactful Content Strategy : Define a content strategy that contributes to building the Enercare brand and supporting the digital acquisition journey. Working in partnership with Senior Manager, Web and Digital Retail and agency partners to define SEO driven content deliverables. Content should focus on customer needs and pain points as it relates to home services, highlighting our solutions and our expertise in helping homeowners.
- Content Creation Oversight : Oversee the development of engaging and impactful content against brand, customer experience, and acquisition objectives. Content formats include written blog articles for web and long / short form video for web and social. Ensuring consistency in tone, style, and quality across all platforms. Content could also include local content highlighting community or employee efforts and supporting efforts for brand consistency and governance.
- Distribution & Promotion Strategy : Drive content engagement by executing distribution and promotion strategy through web, social, and newsletter channels, with an eye to driving a lift in business outcomes. Ensure alignment with retargeting campaigns lead by Paid team and ensuring these efforts drive incremental volume.
- Web and Social Content Performance Reporting : Regularly analyze organic performance metrics, providing reports that highlight successes, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Online Reputation Monitoring : Continuously monitor brand mentions across social platforms and other online channels. Work closely with the Brand Manager to address potential issues proactively and develop strategies to enhance the brand's reputation.
- Social Sentiment Reporting : Analyze and report on social sentiment using advanced analytics tools. Provide actionable insights to inform marketing strategies and improve brand perception.
- Collaboration with Social Care Manager : Support the Social Care Manager to develop initiatives that foster positive interactions with our audience and build a loyal community around our brand.
- Team Leadership : Supervise the Associate Manager, Content and Social, providing guidance on content creation, campaign execution, and performance reporting.
- Campaign Strategy Advisory : Advise on campaign strategies based on sentiment analysis and performance data. Collaborate with Brand and Digital marketing team to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
