Job descriptionEmergency power systems Power distribution systems Incoming electrical service Lighting systems Prepare detailed designs, drawings, and specifications for tendering purposes. Prepare documentation for submission to the authorities having jurisdiction. Conduct construction reviews to ensure project compliance with design specifications and standards. Manage contract administration, including coordination with contractors, suppliers and clients. Lead project management activities, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project delivery. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration. Stay updated on industry standards, technologies and best practices to deliver innovative solutions. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation (or eligibility to obtain it). Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering consulting, with a focus on building systems. Proficiency in design and analysis tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit or similar software). Strong understanding of Ontario Building Code, Canadian Electrical Code and other relevant standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will bring expertise in electrical engineering consulting and play a key role in the evaluation, design and management of diverse building projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient solutions.
