As a Senior Land Development Project Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex residential and commercial / industrial developments. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, guiding projects from concept through completion, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and built to the highest standards. If you are a proactive leader with a passion for building vibrant, sustainable communities, this role offers a chance to leave a lasting mark on the Guelph region and beyond.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee the full lifecycle of land development projects, ensuring that each phase is completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to ensure project alignment and success.
- Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholders' expectations.
- Collaborate with environmental, geotechnical, and structural teams to ensure integrated solutions throughout the project.
- Review and approve technical reports, drawings, and plans to ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure that quality control is maintained.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.
