We encourage our employees and give them the autonomy to be in the driver’s seat of their own success.We are currently seeking a dedicated Construction Contracts Manager to join our team who will contribute to the overall success of the Contracts Department by procuring and managing the industry's top sub-trades. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve and create long and lasting relationships. You will work under the direction of the Director of Contracting & Construction Performance.What You'll Do : Bid Management : Prepare bid documents, manage bidder lists, request and review quotes, and make recommendations for contract awards.Contract Oversight : Draft and negotiate contracts, including terms, conditions, scope of work, and change orders. Ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and legislative requirements.Risk Analysis : Identify and mitigate risks associated with specific contract terms and provide recommendations to leadership.Relationship Building : Maintain strong relationships with sub-trades, pre-qualify new partners, and travel as needed to build and sustain trade partnerships.Project Coordination : Work closely with internal teams to provide feedback on design changes, clarify specifications, and address contractor inquiries during the tender process.Documentation & Reporting : Track all contracts, revisions, and updates in shared drives. Ensure accurate records of contractor insurance, WCB clearance, and compliance forms.Budget Support : Collaborate with estimating and purchasing teams on scopes, takeoffs, and monthly budget reviews.Process Improvement : Draft formal correspondence, streamline workflows, and support the turnover process, including warranty tracking.Other Duties : Assist with office supply requisitions, update payment schedules, and help refine internal processes for contract management.What You Bring : 3+ years of experience in construction contracts management. Preference will be given to applicants who have worked in the multi family sector.Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts.Strong multitasking and organizational skills in fast-paced environments.Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets and Microsoft Office.Knowledge of construction principles, budgeting, and market needs.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting partnerships.Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach to supporting site teams.Ironclad is an equal-opportunity employer; we are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace for all.
