Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our Hearst Construction & Forestry location.
The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for assisting in the dismantling of construction, forestry and mining based heavy equipment and components.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Cleaning parts and components
- Cleaning and organizing the yard
- Some inventory maintenance.
- Assisting the other shop personnel fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity

Required Skills
- Demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices
- Highly motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to carry out and understand verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Required Experience
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy duty equipment environment (ie: lifting up to 75 pounds)
- Must be capable of working under minimal supervision
- Previous mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required
- Forklift experience and heavy duty parts handling considered an asset
- Demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices
- Highly motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to carry out and understand verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
