Job description
We are currently seeking experienced Skidsteer Operators to join our client’s team for a hands-on role in the landscaping and construction industry. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy working outdoors and operating heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.THE JOB
  • Operate a skidsteer (Cat 257B) to load, unload, grade, excavate, trench, and move materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Safely transport equipment between job sites as required
  • Assist with general site duties and material handling as needed
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite
WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY
  • Up to $25.00/hour + 4% vacation pay
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity based on performance
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (hours may vary depending on project needs)
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 1 year of skidsteer operating experience
  • Previous experience in landscaping or construction required
  • Experience with other heavy equipment considered an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform basic maintenance
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • CSA-approved steel-toed boots or shoes
