Summary

In this role, you’ll be part of a dedicated travelling construction crew, working on projects across Ontario and occasionally across Canada. You can expect to be on the road for several weeks at a time.


We’re open to candidates from outside the GTA—what matters most is your willingness and ability to travel with the crew.

A Water Truck Driver is responsible for transporting water from one location to another using a commercial truck. The Water Truck Driver will operator a tandem truck with a 15,000-liter water tank, including water pump operation and measuring water usage. Performs daily vehicle inspections, ensuring tires, lights, brakes, and equipment are in good condition. Assist with COR & CVOR documentation while strictly following environmental and internal policies. Handle loading/unloading of goods and perform additional tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Transportation of water to destinations throughout Ontario
  • Ensure time sensitive deliveries to crews and customers
  • Loading and unloading of product to destination
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure cleanliness and condition meet Miller and MTO standards and regulations
  • Completion of all relevant documentation
  • Maintain Hours of Service compliance and logbooks/E-Logs
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Travel is required
  • Ability to work Safely and follow all safety regulations
  • Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to perform manual labour, lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs.) and pull 100 feet of hose
  • Class “DZ” driver’s license
  • 1-3 years of DZ driving experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Liquid handling experience, an asset
  • Previous experience with electronic logbooks (E-Log)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively work alone and in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

Compensation Data

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
