The Opportunity
We are seeking a Construction Manager to join our Canada Gas Projects Construction Services team in North Bay, Ontario. In this role, you will oversee field-based construction crews responsible for executing Integrity Projects across Eastern Canada.
Reporting to the Manager of Construction Services East, this position leads and develops a strong, competent, proactive, and engaged construction team.

Functional Role Overview :
The Construction Manager role is responsible for representing TC Energy interests in the field. This includes field progress monitoring / reporting, establishing inspection resources, and delivering in accordance with our standards and specifications. This role is field-based and provides critical safety leadership to the team.
What you’ll do
Leadership & Management
- Foster a workplace culture that encourages innovation, ongoing improvement, and high standards
- Promote effective teamwork and communication among crew members during projects
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Identify opportunities for cross-training to enhance team capabilities and individual growth
- Develop and oversee daily and weekly work schedules for teams of 7-10 field personnel
- Oversee administrative functions including timesheet approval, permit management, expense reporting, and logistical planning
- Drive improvements in cost control, quality, safety standards, compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Support budget planning and personnel evaluations
- Contribute to department goals and lead implementation efforts within assigned areas
