Personal Suitability :
Overview : The successful candidate will show a good understanding of concrete shoring and falsework. Being familiar with common formwork systems such as DOKA, PERI, ALUMA, MEVA and ULMA will be an asset. Familiarity to the sequence of these systems or similar systems will be needed. Being able to use common hand tools and measure accurately will be critical. The successful candidate will be required to form foundations, concrete columns, walls and elevator / stair shafts and suspended slabs. They also will be involved with the removal of formwork for these same items. The majority of the work will be done with use of tower crane or other hoisting equipment. Experience in concrete placing and concrete finishing will be considered an asset.
