Job descriptionLoading and unloading of trucks, using pallet jacks, electric walkies or forklifts Safe and timely deliveries to local delivery destinations, mostly dock to dock and the occasional tailgate unloading Daily vehicle inspection and filling out of appropriate documents Contacting customers to arrange and confirm delivery times Assisting in the warehouse when required Some hand-bombing may be required Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience Must have valid Ontario D or DZ Class license and provide clean abstract (current within 30 days). Solid knowledge of the GTA and surrounding areas. Must be able to lift 55lbs on a regular basis and willing to work in all types of weather safely loading and unloading deliveries. Excellent communications skills and sound judgement. Ensuring that every customer is treated in the same fair and consistent manner by remaining professional both in conduct and appearance. Follow all paperwork procedures related to the delivery and pick-up of products. Professional appearance and mannerism Previous local LTL pickup and delivery experience Experienced in operating pallet jacks, tailgate, and other related equipment.
