Job description
English Job Description
Our client, a leading global organization within the insurance sector, is seeking a high-caliber Senior Product Owner to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract with a strong intent for long-term extension or permanent conversion.

In this role, you will act as a techno-functional leader driving sprint deliverables, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and collaborating closely with international technical teams and Scrum Masters. You will own the evolution of a business-critical CRM platform—ensuring stability for underwriting user groups while strategically onboarding and integrating business development teams to merge comprehensive data reporting.

If you are a driven professional who bridges the gap between complex technical requirements and executive-level business strategy, we want to hear from you.

Advantages
Long-Term Potential: Strong intent for contract extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Cutting-Edge Upskilling: Gain exclusive access to internal, ongoing corporate AI training (including Microsoft Copilot and Claude).

Inclusive Culture: Enjoy a highly collaborative environment where contractors are fully integrated into the team and invited to major corporate events.

Work-Life Balance: Standard 35-hour work week with a predictable, structured hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities
Product Leadership: Act as a pseudo-leader to align cross-functional teams, drive sprint deliverables, and manage end-to-end product lifecycles.

CRM Evolution & Stability: Support and enhance the existing CRM platform for specialized user groups while leading upcoming integration initiatives to onboard new business units.

Holistic Solutioning: Connect the dots across various technical modules and business requirements to build seamless, end-to-end enterprise solutions.

Stakeholder & Technical Alignment: Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and senior executives while simultaneously collaborating with tech teams to define API requirements and CRM connectors.

UAT Coordination: Oversee and coordinate User Acceptance Testing to ensure deliverables meet stringent business standards.

Qualifications
CRM Expertise: Mandatory, hands-on experience with MS Dynamics CRM configuration and platform building.

Proven Leadership: A tracked record of leading large-scale CRM implementations within enterprise-level environments.

Industry Experience: Strong domain knowledge within the Insurance sector and a deep understanding of its unique workflows.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience defining API requirements and working alongside technical teams to build robust connectors.

Communication & Relationship Management: Exceptional executive stakeholder management skills with the ability to confidently partner with C-suite leadership.

High Emotional Intelligence (EQ): A natural ability to challenge technical solutions constructively while seamlessly meshing with a dynamic, forward-thinking team culture.

Summary
Role Title: Senior Product Owner

Placement Type: 6-Month Contract (Strong intent for extension or permanent conversion)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on-site: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in the Toronto office)

Work Hours: 35 hours/week (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Target Start Date: ASAP

Interview Process: Streamlined 3-stage process combining virtual leadership screenings, an in-person local team cultural fit interview, and a virtual international technical alignment session.
