Ideal Profile

The HR Executive serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with business goals. This role oversees all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation, benefits, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), compliance, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership : Partner with the senior leadership and executive team to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Talent Management : Lead recruitment, retention, and succession planning to attract and retain top talent.
  • Culture & Engagement : Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement programs, feedback mechanisms, and leadership development.
  • Compensation & Benefits : Design competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards programs.
  • Learning & Development : Implement training and leadership programs to enhance employee growth.
  • HR Operations & Compliance : Ensure compliance with labor laws, mitigate risks, and oversee HR policies.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) : Champion DEI initiatives to build a diverse and equitable workforce.
  • HR Technology : Optimize HRIS and analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Change Management : Guide organizational transformations, mergers, or restructuring efforts.
  • Expected Qualifications :

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Industrial Relations is an asset / A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or MHRM) can be a strong asset for senior HR Executive roles.
  • 8–10+ years of HR leadership experience with demonstrated strategic planning, change management, and business partnership.
  • CPHR, SHRM-CP, PHR, or CHRP designation preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws (Employment Standards Code, Workplace Safety & Health Act, Human Rights Code).
