Position Overview :
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support services to clients in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Monitor and record clients' vital signs, medication intake, and any changes in their physical or mental health
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings, as required
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
