Community Living Services Temp Kamloops, BC $25.95 - $29.76 CAD per hour
The Home Support Worker supports individuals with diverse abilities in their homes with personal care, hygiene, and household duties. The main responsibilities include :
- Monitors the overall well-being of the individual and reports any changes
- Provides personal care, including feeding, grooming, personal hygiene, etc.
- Administers medication following agency procedures
- Manages household duties such as laundry, shopping, housekeeping, etc.
- Provides life skills support and development
- Fosters healthy eating habits through planning and preparing meals.
- Transports individuals to appointments and other places
- Implements the agency's health and safety standards while working with the individuals
- Ensures that the individuals' behavioral plans are followed
- Collaborates with other professionals, co-workers, and supervisors

REQUIREMENTS
PROGRAM : Community Living Services - Home Support
STATUS : Temporary Full-Time
TERM : 4 months or until the return of the incumbent
HOURS of WORK : 35 hours per week
SCHEDULE : Monday to Friday, Daytime schedule
COMPENSATION : $25.95 - $29.76 per hour (Grid 10 as per collective agreement)
CLOSING DATE : Open until a suitable candidate is found
