Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is vital in delivering high-quality care to clients, particularly those requiring support due to age, disabilities, or health conditions. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and assisting individuals with diverse needs, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Duties
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide personalized care and support to clients based on their individual needs and care plans.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Foster a positive and empowering environment for clients, promoting independence and self-esteem.
- Support individuals with cognitive impairments through engaging activities and routines.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care..
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and activities
