Unique, personal, and developed writing style. 1+ years relevant work experience for a non-profit organization, political organization, consumer brand or brand-oriented agency. Knowledge of the New Democratic Party, its history, policies, and of Canadian politics in general.
Canada’s New Democrats are searching for a Communications Officer to join our Digital team. Under the supervision of the Digital Director and reporting directly to the Deputy Director, Digital, the Digital Copywriter will contribute to the success of various digital programs.
Job Duties
- Write amazing, engaging content for web, email, video, social media and other digital platforms.
- Assist in developing content and communications strategy for the NDP digital programs.
- Calendar and write fundraising, engagement, mobilization and social media content to supporters, voters and donors.
- Ensure written materials follow political messaging and standards for brand voice and tone.
- Collaborate with digital team to develop compelling and effective end product.
- Write content for other organizational departments from time-to-time.
