The goal of this project is to implement a corporate scheduling and time reporting solution that will support the municipality in its effort to streamline scheduling and time reporting business processes, reduce manual effort, and leverage industry leading business practices.
The objectives of this project are to :
Implement a scalable and configurable scheduling and time reporting solution.
Improve business processes and leverage automation opportunities related to processing and workflow.
Improve compliance with collective agreements, human resource, and payroll policies.
Establish sound employee master data management principles that support and seek to improve data quality.
Provide the ability for staff to leverage self-service capabilities.
Increase accountability through audit checks, robust business rules, and application of workflow management.
Improve decision-making through enhanced reporting capabilities.
Establish a foundation for long-term operational sustainability by building a knowledge base that enables self-sufficiency within the municipality.
Build and configure a solution that is aligned to industry leading business practices
Advantages
Responsibilities
Business Change Manager Responsibilities :
Builds and executes the change management (CM) plans.
Works with project manager to build the CM network.
Continuously works with the CM network to produce the deliverables and facilitates CM network meetings.
Engages with the Business Leads and the Business Owners to build the CM network (including Change Sponsor, Champions, Enablers, and Agents – defined in CM plan).
Continuously works with the CM network and facilitates the meetings.
Work with Program Change Manager to engage and work with the sponsor.
Creates overall communications plan and communication deliverables.
Assists communication team with identifying audiences, key messages, timing, and delivery methods / people.
Analyses training needs, develops, or supports the development of training materials and assists with training delivery as appropriate.
Identifies and completes CM activities.
Assists the training team in the design and delivery of an effecting learning program.
Provides reinforcement messaging to conduct evaluation of business unit readiness and present findings.
Continually assess progress or changes in business readiness and refine / supplement plans as required.
Qualifications
he consultant must fulfill the following qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years experience helping organizations plan, implement, and deliver people and change initiatives. Within the Candidate’s change management history, experience in the following areas is required :
o People & Business Process change; and
o IT implementation experience
