Job descriptionPrepare and issue monthly rent invoices and recurring charges Apply tenant payments and maintain accurate AR ledgers Assist with AR aging reports and perform basic follow-ups on overdue accounts Support calculations for tenant chargebacks (utilities, parking, etc.) Prepare standard journal entries (accruals, reclasses, prepaid amortization) Assist with bank reconciliations and supporting schedules Compile documentation for Property Analyst review Maintain accurate GL coding for recurring transactions Update lease abstracts and ensure accurate lease data Process rent steps, move-ins / move-outs, and occupancy changes Review lease terms to ensure correct billing of rent, CAM, and additional charges Assist with monthly property reporting packages Maintain organized digital files for invoices, leases, and reconciliations Generate basic ERP system reports as required Ensure proper backup documentation and audit trails for AP / AR processes Assist with HST / GST support and filing preparation Follow approval matrices and internal control procedures Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred) Enrollment in or interest in pursuing a CPA designation is an asset 2+ years of accounting experience (AP / AR, bookkeeping, or internship / co-op) Knowledge of property management accounting (TMI, rent rolls, lease accounting) Experience with investor reporting or real estate fund structures is an asset Exposure to month-end close processes is an advantage Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar real estate accounting software Strong Excel skills; financial modeling experience is an asset Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong time management and deadline-driven mindset Professional communication when interacting with tenants and vendors Highly organized, collaborative, and effective in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Language preference : Mandarin is an asset. Starting Salary : $60,000 annually Additional benefits provided according to company policy

- Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
- Match invoices with purchase or work orders as required
