The Housing Supply Officer is integral to maintaining a steady supply of Temporary Accommodation (TA) and PRS housing that meets demand and quality standards. This role involves procuring new housing supply, managing landlord relationships, and facilitating the transition of households into suitable accommodations. • Provide advice and guidance to landlords to build trust and encourage participation in PRS schemes.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure housing supply aligns with demand and operational needs.
  • Support the reduction of households in emergency and temporary accommodation by securing appropriate PRS placements.
  • Monitor service performance, logging delivery issues and complaints, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
---

Experience Required

  • Experience working within housing supply, private rented sector procurement, or homelessness services.
  • Proven experience engaging with landlords, agents, and property suppliers.
  • Experience in negotiating lease agreements or housing procurement arrangements.
  • Experience working in a target-driven environment focused on increasing housing supply.
  • Experience of handling complaints and resolving service delivery issues.
